The problem: DHS can’t get funds to build a wall.
Some construction has been started, but the bulk of the funds haven’t been allocated. Construction will stall without proper funding.
The solution? Crowdfund border security.
We found a way – no legislation required – to get the funds to DHS and ensure they only use them for the wall. Turns out all they had to do was say yes.
Either way you and I pay for it
The only difference between money sent to the DHS from here and funding security with taxes is that one is voluntary and one is mandatory. Congress already gave DHS permission to secure the border.
There shouldn’t be political tradeoffs to a secure border.
It’s been law since 2006 that there should be a border wall. Congress has made an issue out of funding it ever since. Even now it looks like Congress isn’t getting it resolved anytime soon.
American Border Foundation has been there
Americans can help CBP and the DHS secure our southern border. We hope you will join us!
